Barry Burrows Obituary
Barry A. Burrows, 78, died suddenly at the Exeter Hospital on September 8, 2023. He was born on May 3, 1945, in East Lyme, CT the son of the late Robert I. Burrows and Arlene B. (Garrett) Burrows.
Barry grew up in East Lyme, CT before moving to NH where he has resided for over 40 years. He had always worked in the tree service and eventually started his own business called Barry's Tree Service which he had owned and operated for many years. He was widowed by his wife Sharon (Gavitt) Burrows. The two were married on May 3, 1969 and celebrated 34 years of marriage before her passing in 2003. Barry loved motorcycles and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Sharon (Gavitt) Burrows and his daughter, Doddi Burrows.
He is survived by two sisters Cynthia Albee and Linda Cosgrove from Michigan, his brother-in-law, Gary Cosgrove and many nieces & nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 5-6 PM at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant St., Epping, NH. The memorial service will follow and begin at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
Private burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Pawcatuck, CT.
