Barry K. Constable

HYDE PARK – Barry K. Constable, 75, a lifelong area resident, passed away at his son's home surrounded by his family on June 18, 2024 after a brief illness.
Born on February 23, 1949, Barry was the son of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Brundage) Constable. He proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Barry retired from the New York State ridge Authority after 25 years of service.
He is survived by his son, Robert Constable and his girlfriend Julianne Burlingame; his daughter, Tonia Constable; his grandchildren, Lyiam Constable, Kayla Constable, James Reyes, Mackenzye Allen, Anthony Barksdale; his Siblings and their spouses, Kim and Lucille Constable, Stephen and Bernadette Constable, William and Judy Constable, Wendy Barall, and Peter and Gale Constable; and many nieces and nephews.
Barry enjoyed spending his afternoons at Darby O'Gills in Hyde Park, and the staff there became his second family. He enjoyed his collectables, especially his over 250 eagles. He liked carpentry and listening to music. More than anything, Barry adored his grandchildren and loved spending time with them.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Darby O'Gills, 3969 Albany Post Road, Hyde Park, NY on Thursday, June 27th from 4-7pm.
