Barry Erdvig Obituary
Barry Allen Erdvig, 75, of Cumming Georgia passed away December 18, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Michele Dorion Erdvig, three siblings and many nieces and nephews.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Barry lived in Miami for many decades and metro Atlanta for the past 40 years. Early in his career he earned his private, commercial and instrument pilot's licenses and enjoyed flying. He retired after a long, diverse career at United Airlines.
Barry loved travel, Ireland, vintage Vespa motor scooters, VW Beetles, computers and garage sales. His wacky sense of humor, stories, jokes and adventures constantly amused family and friends. Although he visited Ireland almost sixty times, he never kissed the Blarney stone because he didn't need "the gift of gab".
A small private remembrance will be held for family and close friends. No formal services will take place, as Barry requested, but we do appreciate your love and support during this difficult time.
