Barry R. Galloway, 60
Barry R. Galloway, 60 of Savannah passed away on Saturday evening, December 16, 2023.
He was born on March 31, 1963 in Ashland the son of Robert and Marjorie (nee Holmes) Galloway.
Barry graduated from Ashland High School and Ashland-Holmes County Career Center, Class of 1981.
He married the former, Daphne Ann Pruner on March 5, 1993.
Barry was employed by Zeiter Trucking Company and previously employed at Custom Hoist for more than 20 years.
Throughout his life he enjoyed NASCAR and fishing, but most of all spending time with his grandson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Daphne Galloway of Savannah; his mother, Marjorie Galloway of Sarasota, Florida; one daughter, Ashley (Jay Watson) Norris of Ashland; one grandson, Colton Watson of Ashland; one sister, Cindy (Mike) Moll of Myakka City, Florida; and two brothers, Kevin (Emily) Galloway of Sunlakes, Arizona; and Brennan (Connie) Galloway of Ashland.
Barry is preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with Reverend John Bouquet presiding. Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in care of the family for future education expenses for Barry's grandson, Colton Watson, 313 Center Street, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
