A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Barry retired from Dixie Cup after many years of service as a maintenance technician. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and friend, and cherished time spent with his family and friends. Barry loved attending his grandchildren's events, always showing up to cheer them on with a proud smile. His deep love for family extended beyond his own children, as he was a beloved member of the Smokehouse guys' group.

He is survived by his son, Barry (Ashley) Hibbard, Jr.; his other children, Stacy Maloney and Michael (Melissa) Bowman; his sister, Michelle Gipson; and his grandchildren, Abigail Hibbard, Kaylee Inman, Kenna (Landon) Scheffel, Bella Hibbard, Drake Hibbard, Jared Maloney, Jaelyn Maloney, Jack Maloney, Kendall Moore, Mason Bowman, and MacKenzie Howell. He is also survived by his great-grandchild, Ezel Maloney.
In addition to his parents and late wife, Ella, he was preceded in death by his brother, Perry Hibbard.

Papa was the sweetest and so soft spoken. I´m thankful he did get to attend my wedding this past October, and this picture will forever be my favorite.

He was my uncle and I lost touch after my dad passed, my dad is Perry Hibbard, and I loved when he and my dad got together and talked. It was just funny to listen to them. 2 men that didn't say too much except when they had things to say. Barry was so soft spoken. I'm sure my dad was waiting for him with open arms. I will miss u uncle Barry and sending love and condolences to the family during this difficult time.
