Claire B. Hibbard

Claire B Hibbard (Ratte') 93, of Brentwood NH, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2025 at home. She was the wife of the late Clarence J. Hibbard Jr. with whom she shared 57 years of marriage. Claire had a love for life like no other, she was the most positive, vibrant, kindhearted woman and always loved doing for others. She loved playing games, doing crafts, knitting, crocheting, tatting, sewing, reading and playing the organ.

She is survived by her son Richard Hibbard and his wife Patricia, her daughter Patricia Hibbard, her daughter Deborah Simone, her son Ronald Hibbard Sr. and his wife Margaret, her daughter Cheryl Bundzinski and the late Daniel Bundzinski, and her son John Hibbard. Several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Claire was blessed to have her beautiful granddaughter Amanda Brennan, an oncology nurse at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston by her side to help care for her during her final days.

Claire was born and raised in Methuen MA. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Rose (Comeau) Ratte'. She attended St. Theresa's School and Tenney High School in Methuen MA. Claire was a stay at home mother for many years and then started her own bookkeeping business. Soon after Claire and Clarence bought 3 Ponds Campground in Brentwood, NH owned and operated it for 37 years. Claire had touched so many lives and was loved by all who were blessed enough to know her. She was truly an angel on earth.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visitation hours on Saturday September 13, 2025 between the hours of 10:00am to 12:00pm. a prayer and reading after at Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Rd, Exeter, NH. Following is the burial at Tonry Cemetery, Middle Rd Brentwood NH
