He is survived by his children, Ruth E. Rieder, Scranton, Barry Rieder and wife Lindy, Scranton, Sister and caregiver, Linda L. Dougher, Scranton, Grandson, Jack Rieder and Kyah Webb, Great Grandchildren, Barry Rieder, Mae Rieder, nephews, Ryan Dougher and Lucia Acosta, Donald Dougher and wife Mikayla. He was predeceased by his parents Carl and Gloris, brother inlaw and best friend, Donald Dougher.
Viewing for family and friends will be on Thursday, December 4, 2025, 3 to 5 pm in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton. A Blessing Service will be held on Friday in the funeral home at 10 am by the Rev Dr. Elliott Cooke. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst, PA.
