Barry married Barbara Lynn Vogelaar in 1975 and raised two daughters, Holly and Heather. In Barry's younger years, he was on the Bass Pro Circuit, as he loved hunting and fishing all his life. He also enjoyed going to the gun club, and shooting sporting clays with his son in law Josh. Barry loved spending family time at their lake home on Lake Rathbun.
Survivors include daughters Holly Robinson (Chuck Stanley) of Des Moines and Heather Robinson (Josh Johnson) of Chariton, 'extra' daughter Traci Wolfe, grandchildren Mya and Dylan, brother Jeff (Sandy) Robinson, other relatives and friends.
Barry was preceded in death by his wife Barbara on March 13, 2025, his parents George and Darlene Robinson, and brother David Robinson.
In lieu of a service for Barry, the family would like for you to take your family outdoors to enjoy memories while fishing and hunting in beautiful Iowa.
