Barry Clifford Rotz, 71, of Chambersburg, went home to be with the Lord, February 27, 2026, in his home with his loved ones by his side. He and his beloved wife, Cindy D. (Tresler) Rotz were married 45 years.

Barry was born July 29, 1954, in the Chambersburg Maternity Home. He was a son of the late Clifford H. and Grace I. (Mull) Rotz. He graduated from Chambersburg High School, Class of 1972. He later continued his education graduating Magna Cum Laude from Kaplan University in Hagerstown, Maryland with an associate's degree in applied science in Information Technology in 2011. He was on the Dean's List for many semesters.

Mr. Rotz had lived in Waynesboro for 35 years and worked at Teledyne Landis Machine and Tyco, AMP both of Waynesboro. In January 2021, he retired from Chambersburg School District where he was as a custodian and assisted with I.T.

He enjoyed gardening, raising rabbits, and rescuing many cats and additional animals. He is fondly remembered for helping his daughters raise 4-H Seeing Eye Dogs and coaching Quincey Girls Softball Team. He was also involved with the Mt. Pleasant Youth Group for many years.

In addition to his wife, Cindy, he is also survived by 2 daughters, Tiffany Rotz (Jessica) and Serena (Rotz) Snyder (Cody) and 6 grandchildren, Kelsey Bittinger, Joshua Bittinger, Chandler Snyder, Jacob Bittinger, Julianna Snyder and Serenity Rotz. Additional survivors include his brother, Daryl Rotz of Harrisburg and sister, Karen G. (Rotz) Nilson (Craig) of Clear Spring, Maryland.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Otterbein Church, 912 S. Potomac St., Waynesboro, PA on March 22, 2026, at 3 PM., Pastor Steven Sheldon, officiating.
