Barry Santini

Barry Santini passed away peacefully at his home in Waltham, MA on November 7, 2024, at the age of 72. Barry was born on January 22, 1952, to Marat and Gloria Santini. Barry was survived by his devoted wife of 27 years, Ellen Santini. He was a loving step father to Michael and Nicole DeLia and a father in law to Kelley Delia. Known affectionately as Nonno, he adored his five grandchildren, Anthony, Joelle and Mikey Delia and Jake and Jesse Curcio. His grandchildren brought him immense joy and purpose in his life. Barry is remembered as a caring brother to Mark Santini and his wife Brenda Santini. He held a special place in his heart for his nieces, Alanna, Shelby and Analise. Barry devoted much of his professional life to the family business Santini Inc. He worked alongside his brother Mark, and cousins Gary and Glenn Santini. He was a standout athlete during his time at Arlington High School, gaining recognition of his exceptional skills in football and track. His talent earned him a scholarship at Purdue University, where he continued to play football as a tight end and ultimately was drafted by the Cleveland Browns.Barry's legacy is one of love, dedication and athletic excellence. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and will forever be remembered for his kindness, generosity and unwavering support for his family. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., Arlington on Thursday November 14th from 4-7 pm. Services and burial are private.
