I am so thankful for Mr. Withers he was a breath of fresh air for me. That´s man was Good to me. I will never forget when I first became a Cleveland Police officer he called and said Kevin you know what you have to do. Then days later hike called me in his office to show me a picture that he had in his office of me. So thankful for generosity and love to me and the members of the City of Cleveland. I was very sorry that was not able to attend his service.

Deepest sympathy to Barry´s family and loved ones. I was most blessed and fortunate to have had Barry as my boss and friend. He was such a special, kind, and genuine person. The world was a better place by him being in it. With all the hardships he may have faced, he never complained, and, in fact, in one of our last conversations he told me he has no regrets and that he has had a great life and was thankful to God for everything. I know there were times where his health caused him suffering, and yet he consistently kept a positive attitude which was such an inspiration. I know I am a better person for having known Barry. He suffers no more. He is now in his heavenly home with our dear Lord. God Bless all of the lives he touched.
