Bart Ellis Ulm, 65, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 21, 2023,
surrounded by his family.
Bart was born in Ogden, Utah on March 17, 1958. He grew up in Ogden and graduated
from Bonneville High School.
He married Larue Bunch in 1977 and soon welcomed their two sons, Josh and Jeremy Ulm.
He had a long career at WR White Pipe Co. and later at Old Castle Precast. He spent time
with his family enjoying everything the outdoors provided, especially skiing as he spent
many hours volunteering for Powder Mountain Ski Patrol.
Bart was most known for his quick wittiness, big smile, contagious laugh, nonjudgmental.
character and ability to make light of every situation.
Bart later married Patrice Boehme where they spent their time traveling between
their two homes enjoying life.
Bart is survived by his loving wife, Patrice; sons, Josh (Jaynee) Ulm and Jeremy (Jill) Ulm;
grandchildren, Ashton Ulm, Brooklyn Ulm, Briggs Ulm, Hayden Ulm, Max Ulm, and
Crew Ulm; mother, Carol Cox; brother, Steve (Shauna) Ulm; and sister, Lindsey (Gerald)
Dickson. His stepchildren; Nate (Alanna) Otasua, AmberLee (Jason) Warburton, and
Quinten Colovich. He also inherited many step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
that adored him. All of the grandchildren lovingly referred to him as “Papa Bart”.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Larue Ulm, father, Robert Ulm, sister, Denise Ulm
and stepson, Jeremie Otasua.
A special thanks to his doctors, and all the nurses in the ICU at McKay-Dee Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 1, 2023 at Lindquist’s Roy
Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends Thursday,
November 30th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
