Vickie Lynn Williams Panter

Vickie Panter, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend passed away on November 29, 2025. Vickie was born in Ogden, Utah on August 5, 1956, the first of three children born to Ralph H. and LaJean Smith Williams. Vickie's mother died in 1966. Ralph later married Ellen J. Malouf Malan.

Vickie graduated from Bonneville HS, where she made many lifelong friends. She began her working career at Cutter Laboratories in Ogden where she met and married her first husband, William Dupin. Vickie and Bill lived in southern California from 1981-1989; they later divorced. In 1992, Vickie married the love of her life, Calvin Eugene Panter. They enjoyed a happy life together, traveling, spending time at their place in Bear Lake and time with family. Their marriage was solemnized in the Ogden Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Cal died April 30, 1995, following an extended battle with cancer.

Vickie worked in the social work and health care fields. She was a caregiver by nature and gave devoted care to her Grandma Smith and as a full time, live-in caregiver for her Aunt Mary. She also helped care for her parents in their aging years.

Vickie's loving concern for others fostered many deep friendships. She loved and was loved by all her nieces and nephews.

Vickie is survived by her five siblings: Doug (Jeri ) Malan, Sheri (Lothar ) Kososik, Greg Williams, Brad (Kristen) Williams, Mike Williams;14 nieces and nephews; and her Aunt Janice Grajek and Uncle Edward Malouf. She was preceded in death by two nephews, Trevor Moore and Jordan Malan, her husband, Cal Panter, her mother, LaJean, father, Ralph and mother, Ellen.

Please join us in celebrating Vickie's life on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 2 pm at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah, 84404. Visitation will be held at the same location from 12:30-1:30 pm. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
