Bartolomeo "Bart" Camporeale, beloved husband of Isabelle "Bunny" (Sansone) Camporeale with whom he shared 49 years of marriage, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025 in Perth Amboy. He was 72 years old.

Born on May 3, 1953 in Molfetta, Italy, he was the son of the late Sergio and Lucrezia (DeBari) Camporeale.

Bart settled in Hoboken in 1966 and worked as a Longshoreman for 40 years. He was a member of the International Longshoremen's Association local 1804-1.

Bart was a man whose presence made the world gentler, brighter, and kinder.

As a husband, father, and grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Bart led not only by example, but with wisdom, and warmth. He taught through quiet strength, steady love, and the simple power of showing up – EVERY DAY, in every way. He was the one his family looked to for guidance, for comfort, for laughter that arrived just when they needed it most. He gave without asking, loved without limits, and lived with a heart larger than life.

Soccer, gardening, cooking, thrifting, flea markets, fishing, flying kites, and The Rolling Stones are the things in life Bart loved.

Preparing Sunday pasta for his beloved nephew Johnny and bringing it to the crew at Just Subs in Clinton he enjoyed. Above anything else, he loved being with his family.

He was exceptionally proud of his granddaughters and would brag about them all the time. He was the most caring person, had the best sense of humor, and was a devoted husband to Isabelle, father to Tara, and grandfather to his grandchildren.

His dog Jager was his pride in joy.

In addition to his loving wife Bunny, Bart is survived by his daughter; Tara Zmigridski and her husband Ben, granddaughters; Gia, Lexi, and Lena, sisters; Caterina Salvemini, and Giovanna Brattoli. His sisters-in-law; Laura, and Sherry Sansone, his brothers-in-law; Tony, and Joey Sansone, Cosmo Brattoli, and Nicola Salvemini, and mother-in-law; Rosie Sansone. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister; Carmela Ortizzo, father-in-law; Rudy Sansone.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral mass on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, 501 New Market Rd., Piscataway, at 11:15 AM. Interment will be private.

His visitation will be held on Friday, November 28th at Sheenan Funeral Home, Dunellen from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
