Soon Hi Doo

Soon Hi Do, age 92, of New Brunswick, passed away on March 12, 2026 in New Brunswick. She was the loving wife of the late Do Bong Joo.

Born on March 7, 1934 in Korea, she was the daughter of the late Chun Bong Ki, and Kim Mi Ja.

During the division of Korea, she relocated to South Korea and met her future husband Do Bong Joo and together they built a wonderful life together. She focused on being a homemaker and caring for her 3 children and her husband.

They moved throughout South Korea in order to follow her husband's career as a very prominent Math teacher.

It was in the 1980's that they moved to the United States and settled in Dunellen, New Jersey.

She was a devoted wife with a vibrant personality. She loved embroidery, Flowers, playing bingo, and participating in everything the senior center had to offer. Many of her favorite pastimes was spending time with her family and eating delicious food.

Her loving children; Oh Yang Suk, Do Keum Suk, and Do II Kwan, and his wife Gladys Do.

Her devoted grandchildren: Gabrielle Do Nova, and her husband Jereyme Nova, Joshua Do, Esther Do, and Daniel Oh. Her hreat grandchild, Soo Yun Segura.

She has 2 surviving siblings out of 5; her brother, Chun Yun Chan, and her sister, Chun Mi Ri.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from 5 to 7:00 PM. Her interment will be private.
