"Goose" is survived by his wife, Marie H. Zornes; his sons, Lawrence Zornes and his wife, Christy, Lance Zornes and his wife, Alisha; his daughter, Donna Porch husband, Kenny; special nephews, Dana and Kenneth; his grandchildren, Danielle, Nicole, Crystal, Travis, Nathan and Brayson; his nine great-grandchildren and his siblings, Donna, Barb, Jack and Dean.
"Goose" loved to fish and loved riding his lawnmower.
A service of remembrance will take place on the home place in Gaston, 601 Myrick Street Gaston, NC 27832 on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at 1:00 PM with military honors.
