Bea Biddy

Mrs. Beatrice Pierce Biddy, 84, of Holcomb, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2025 at her residence. She was born September 10, 1941 in Memphis, TN to Knox and Beatrice Zent Pierce. Bea was a faithful and devoted member of Sparta Methodist Church. She worked for several years as the high school secretary at Kirk Academy and was a life member of the Junior Auxiliary of Grenada. Bea enjoyed participating in the Thursday Women's Bible Study Group at Holcomb Methodist Church and brought a great deal of Bible knowledge and her strong faith to the group. Bea will long be remembered for her deep devotion to her family and to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Sparta Methodist Church with Rev. Janie Mortimer and Rev. Rick Shepherd officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time Sunday at the church.

Survivors include a daughter, Arlein Palmer(Ric) of Holcomb; son, Brad Biddy(Susan) of Roswell, GA; five grandchildren, Rachel Beatty(Brett), Will Biddy, Shannon Biddy, Jacob Palmer(Amelia) and Eli Palmer; two great-grandchildren, James Henry Palmer and Margaret Ruth Palmer and a brother-in-law, Bobby Biddy(Dianne).

Bea was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James H. Biddy, Jr. and a sister, Arlein Pierce.

Brett Beatty, Haley Biddy, Will Biddy, David McElwrath, Eli Palmer and Jacob Palmer will honor Bea by serving as pallbearers.
