Beata Koder, of Sachse, Texas, passed away on December 28, 2023, at the age of 46. Born on February 18, 1977, in Budapest, Hungary, Beata was the cherished daughter of Sandor Alex and Etelka (Tomso) Koder.
Beata's vibrant spirit and passion for the arts were evident from a young age. She dedicated her life to the world of entertainment and acting, leaving an indelible mark on those who had the privilege of experiencing her talent. Her performances were not only a testament to her skill but also a reflection of the joy she found in bringing stories to life. She was especially proud of her performances with the Dallas Opera Company, in particular a production of Madame Butterfly.
A devout member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Beata's faith was a guiding force in her life. Her kindness, warmth, and generosity endeared her to all who knew her. She touched the lives of many with her infectious laughter, unwavering optimism, and compassionate heart.
Beata is survived by her loving husband, David C. Dixon of Sachse, Texas; devoted parents, Sandor and Etelka Koder of Wylie, Texas; two sisters, Andrea Soltysik and her husband, David, of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, and Aniko Hallback and her husband, Eric, of Rockwall, Texas. Beata's family was her anchor, and the bonds she forged with her sisters were a source of strength and joy throughout her life.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
