On January 23, 2023, Beatrice M. Agnetti, resident of Elmhurst, IL. for 45 years, daughter of the late Mary DeSalvo and Leonard Agnetti, passed away, peacefully, surrounded by the love and light of her family and friends.
Beatrice (also affectionately known as Auntie BB) is survived by her sister, Rosanne Eustis, her nieces and nephews in-law Mary Jo (Jim) Braun, Diane (Jerry) Gruba, and Carolyn (Jared) Toporek, her grand nieces and nephews Ryan (Caroline), Dana, Wren, Cole, and Sasha Eustis, Katie (Dan) Elg, Sarah Braun, Ian (Ally) Braun, Sam (Alyssa) Gruba, Erin Gruba, Chloe and Isabella Toporek, and a plethora of great-grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her nephew, Michael Eustis (Marya Slowinski) and his first wife, Nancy Weisel.
Beatrice, who was born in Chicago on April 7, 1936, was a loving sister and an enthusiastic and devoted aunt who loved and laughed with everything she had. Her brand of humor was one-of-a kind and her generosity knew no end. She had a penchant for both good food and singing spontaneously, and she knew the lyrics of many old songs and was happy to belt them out at a family gathering.
Beatrice's extensive work history included almost three decades at NBC as an administrative assistant and radio producer, White Hen Corporation, and Elmhurst College's Admissions.
Friends and family will meet to celebrate Beatrice at a funeral mass on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church 145 E. Grand Ave., Bensenville, IL at 10:00 a.m. Please join us for a visitation in the Holy Cross Room at 9:00am. A brief committal service will take place at Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery, 1400 S. Wolf Road, Hillside IL., shortly after the mass.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Boys Town at support.boystown.org would be appreciated.
