RIVER EDGE - Beatrice Brown (nee Vorhies), 103, of River Edge, formerly of Paramus, passed
away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. She was a member of the Paramus Ladies Auxiliary. Beatrice loved her time working with young people in the AWANA program at Paramus Baptist church. She was known for her generous heart, sharing with anyone in need. Her sense of humor was one of the bright spots of her amazing personality. Her faith guided her journey through life, especially
in her final days.
Cherished wife of the late Howard Brown. Loving mother of Guy H (Martha) Brown and Budd (Ileana) Brown. Devoted grandmother of Oakley.Family will receive friends on Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ. Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Paramus, NJ. Interment immediately following at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ
