Beatrice Marie (Bittner) Driver, 84, of Tuleta, Texas passed away January 23, 2026, in a San Antonio hospital.
Bea, as she was lovingly known to her family and friends, was born July 11, 1941, in Bonnie View in Refugio County to John Paul Bittner and Hertha (Kloesel) Bittner. She graduated from A.C. Jones High School in Beeville and went on to further her education and began a lifelong career as a legal secretary working with several top law firms. She married Jerry Driver in 1963 and mourned his loss when he passed in 2016.
In addition to her parents and husband, Bea was also preceded in death by her daughter, Victoria Heydenreich in 2021.
Survivors include her two sons, Chris (Amy Pepin) Driver of Houston and Hale (Kim) Driver of Collierville, Tennessee; as well as her sister, Marcie Mayfield of Tuleta; and six beloved grandchildren, Summer, Zachary, Hunter, Weston, Gracie and Chloe.
