We are deeply saddened to share that Beatrice Young Honeycutt, a longtime resident of Gastonia, NC, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on November 8, 1951, in Gastonia, Beatrice spent her life in the area, where she raised her family and dedicated herself to her work as a machine operator in the textile industry.
Beatrice was known for her warm spirit, hard work ethic, and unwavering love for her children. She cherished her role as a mother, and her family was her pride and joy. Beatrice touched the lives of many with her kindness and her infectious laughter. She loved animals, especially her dogs, Rocky and Angel. Beatrice was set in her ways and had close ties to everyone around her.
In keeping with her wishes, a celebration of her life will take place at a later date. We invite friends and loved ones to gather and share their memories of Beatrice when the time comes. Details about the memorial services will be announced soon.
