Beatrice M. Morgano

Beatrice Mary Morgano (Baker), age 86, passed away in her home on May 30, 2024. Beatrice was born on March 29, 1938 in Lawrenceville, PA, to Lilian Baker and John 'Dutch' Meyers. Beatrice was adopted and raised by her grandparents, Frank and Dora Baker.
Beatrice was loved by her friends and family. She is survived by her three sons, William (Nancy) Morgano III, Joseph (Kelly) Morgano, and Warren Morgano. Beatrice was preceded in death by her loving son, Jerome Morgano. Beatrice is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, William Morgano IV, Joseph Morgano Jr., Brittany Watson, Warren Morgano Jr., Ashley Morgano, Vincent Morgano, Angelica Morgano, Natalie Morgano, Aidan Morgano, Dominic Morgano, Maria Matkovich, Anna Hesidence. Beatrice is also survived by her 9 great-grandchildren, Tristan, Anthony, Billy V., Charlie Jo, Mae, Myla, Brooke, Elijah and Milo.
Beatrice had a successful career as a Housekeeping and Laundry Manager at Canterbury Place Nursing Home. After retiring from Canterbury Place, she worked at Giant Eagle for many years in several different departments in the Shadyside Market District. Through the years, she was an active member of Saint Joseph's church and Immaculate Conception church in Bloomfield, and most recently was a member of Saint Augustine church in Lawrenceville. She was a generous woman, and she enjoyed walking throughout the Bloomfield area on a regular basis.
Family and friends are welcomed for a Memorial Service in the Chapel at Saint Augustine's Cemetery at 250 Wible Run Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15209 on Saturday, June 22 at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, family requests to have a mass said at the St Augustine's church, or church of your choice, to honor her memory.
