Beatrice Rende Obituary
February 11, 1939 - December 30, 2025
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother, Beatrice Rende, who passed away on December 30th at the age of 86 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Bea was born in Port Chester, N.Y., and was the youngest daughter of Angelo and Beatrice Colangelo. She was preceded in death by her best friend and husband of 56 years, Frank Rende Jr., in 2015. Bea was also predeceased by her sisters, Lucy and Anna, as well as her brother, Dom. She is survived by her four sons, Frank (and Terry), Rob (and Carol), Dean (and Glenda), and Todd (and Mary Ann), as well as the grandchildren she cherished: Frankie, Justin, Robbie, Brianna, Nick, Isabella and Jerrett.
Bea was a caring mom who always put her family first. She will be remembered for her devotion to her children and husband, as well as her love, kindness, and delicious meatballs and chicken cutlets! We take comfort knowing she is now at peace and are grateful for the love and memories she gave to us during her lifetime. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Visitation will be held from 2-5 PM on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, January 5, 2026 at St. Leo's Church, 24 Roxbury Rd., Stamford. Burial will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery.

I am so sorry to just be seeing this now. Your mom and my mom enjoyed going to St. Leo's together. I know my mom so appreciated your mom's friendship. Now they are together again in heaven, as mom passed away in July. Thinking of you all. May your memories of your mom bring you comfort.

It has been quite awhile since we spent time together but whenever I make sausage bread I think of her as we made our own version of it together in the kitchen on Den Rd.
