Beatrice A. Tokarz, lovingly known as Bea, of Yorktown, Virginia, passed away peacefully at the age of 67. Born on August 27, 1958, Bea was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose love and strength touched everyone who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband, David A. Tokarz, and her children: Cassandra Johnson; Michael and Tameisha Pennington; Jennifer and Brandon Dixon; Jill Beal; Wayne and Flavia Tokarz; and Sara and Ryan Newbern.

Bea's pride and joy were her grandchildren: Macie and Liam Johnson; Madison, Lindsey, and Jordyn Pennington; Chassidy, Charridy, and Chad Truslow; Chase Nova Dixon; Tyler Palmer; Chase, Karma, Landon, and Alex Tokarz; Alexis Gagne; Colton Beal; Tyler and Laila Lindquist; and Jaxson and Rowen Newbern. She was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Zyon and D'nyla Rose, along with many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

She is survived by her siblings: Debbie and her husband Ken Grooms of Brooksville, Florida; Alana Cole of Washington, DC; Alfred Damm of Merrimack, New Hampshire; and Mark Damm of Kerrville, Texas.

Bea also leaves behind cherished friends who were like family to her. You know who you are, and she loved you dearly.

Bea worked in retail at AAFES from 1991 to 2008, where she found great joy in her work, her staff, and her customers. Her kindness, humor, and big heart made her a favorite among all who met her.

In her free time, Bea loved cooking, crocheting, reading, traveling, and playing games on her phone. But above all, her greatest joy in life was her family. She loved her children and grandchildren more than anything in this world and fought courageously with their love in her heart every step of the way.

Per Bea's wishes, there will be no formal service. She asked that no one mourn her passing, but instead celebrate her life: to laugh, share stories, and have a good time in her honor. She wanted everyone to remember her with smiles, not tears, and to "party for her on Earth."

Bea will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her, but her love, laughter, and strength will live on in everyone she touched.
