Beatrice Webb Obituary
Beatrice Juanita Parham Hewett Webb passed away peacefully in her home, Monday August 11th, at the age of 90. She was born at home, June 19th, 1935, in Romayer, Texas to her parents Alma Alta Newman Parham and Father Jules Dixie (JD) Parham. Beatrice married Ben Olan Hewett in 1953, and they had two sons, Ricky Don Hewett and Ray Olan Hewett. Bea was a wonderful mother and deeply loved and supported both of her sons. She spent much of her adult life in Lamesa, Texas, but moved to Buchanan Village, Texas in 1983. She married the second love of her life, Dave Ray Webb, in 1987, and they enjoyed many years together before Dave's passing. Bea remained in Buchanan Village until 2023 when she moved to South Carolina so her son Ray could care for her in her declining health.
Bea was proud of her career in real estate and was known for her kindness and loving spirit. She referred to her home in Buchanan Village as her "little slice of heaven" and was loved by her community. She was often seen enjoying the outdoors, waving to every passerby. She loved feeding the birds and making sure the wildlife near her had access to water. She adopted many dogs throughout the years and provided them with the utmost love and care. She had a gentle and welcoming spirit and made those near her feel special and loved. Bea had a strong and unwavering faith in God and enjoyed reading the Bible. She loved praying for her family and enjoyed making personalized Hallmark cards for them on special occasions. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren with a deep and unconditional love.
She is survived by her son Ray Olan Hewett and his wife LiLi, of Little River, South Carolina, daughter-in-law Geneva Overcash Hewett Stephens, of Key Largo, Florida, her sister Dixie Jewell Parham, of Midland, Texas, her brother, Bob Wesley Parham, of Kingswood, Texas, granddaughter Crystal Shuler, of Leesville, Louisiana, and her sons Keaton Shuler, of Crosby, Texas, Clayton DuBios of Leesville, Louisiana, Cody DuBios, wife Chloe and son and daughter Margo and Rafe of Jena, Louisiana, granddaughter, Daishia Shannon and husband Patrick of Huntsville, Texas and Daishia's son Wayburn Chandler of Hicks, Louisiana, grandsons, Justin Ray Hewett, of Crested Butte, Colorado, and Jace Wade Hewett, wife Madeline and daughters Caroline and June, of Horseshoe Bay, Texas and many nieces and nephews and cousins that she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alma Alta Newman Parham and Jules Dixie (JD) Parham, first husband Ben Olan Hewett, second husband, Dave Ray Webb, son Ricky Don Hewett and sister Sarah Lynn Parham Harrington.
Funeral arrangements are by Harrell Funeral Home, 145 Texas Ave in Kingsland, Texas, (325) 388-0008. A Public Visitation will be held Monday, August 18, 2025, at Harrell Funeral Home of Kingsland from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM. Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 2025, Burial will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park on Park Road 4 South in Burnet, Texas.
