Beatriz Pena

Beatriz Peña, born on August 18, 1946, passed away on January 1, 2026, in her home in Palmview, Texas, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Ciudad Mante, Tamaulipas, Mexico, and lived a life filled with love, strength, and devotion.
Beatriz was a devoted mother, a loving grandmother and great-grandmother, whose heart was always centered on her family. Her home was a place of warmth, care, and togetherness, where everyone felt welcome and deeply loved.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alejandro Peña; her loving son, Armando Peña; her cherished daughter, Luz Maria Peña; and her beloved parents, Abram Treviño and Victoria Gaitan.
Left to cherish her memory are her eight children: Eduando Peña, Janie Peña, Laura Peña, Mirna Peña, Aaron Peña, Alejandro Peña Jr., Israel Peña, and Isai Peña; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were the joy of her life.
Beatriz had a creative and joyful spirit. She loved sewing, gardening, and spending time outdoors. Every chance she had, she would bring plants back from the United States, filling her home and garden with life and beauty. She also loved to travel and treasured the moments spent creating memories with her family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026, beginning at 10:00 am -12 p.m., at Flores Funeral Home in Mission, Texas.
