Rebecca “Becky” Annette Raines-Birchfield, age 60, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2024, after a courageous five-year battle with cancer. Born on October 11, 1963, she touched the lives of many with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit.
Becky was a beloved figure in the community and a dedicated realtor for Dora Crisp Realty. However, Becky was more than a successful professional; she was a devoted mother, wife, Nonna, and survivor. Her greatest joy came from her grandchildren: Hunter, Grayson, Mack, and Millie, who brought her immense pride and happiness. She cherished every moment spent with them, creating memories that will be treasured for generations.
She is survived by her loving husband, Johnny Birchfield, who stood by her side throughout her journey. Becky's family also includes her parents, Hazel and Robbie Robertson; her daughter, Nicole (Peeks) Wade-Thebodeaux; her sister, Tracy (Brian) Contorno; her brother, Michael (Susan) Long; and her mother-in-law, Dora Crisp. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by her step-children, Cole (Katelyn) Birchfield and Ali (Dallen) Atchley, as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family who will carry her legacy forward. She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Raines III, and husband, Tony Lamar Crisp.
Becky's life was marked not only by her professional achievements but also by her personal relationships. She was the heart of her family, guiding and supporting those around her with love and compassion. Her presence will be deeply missed, yet her influence will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
A funeral service to honor Becky's life will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 1:00 PM in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Pastor Reece Fauscett officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at New Home Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again on Thursday from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
As family and friends gather to celebrate Becky's life, we are reminded of her strength, her love, and the lasting impact she made in her community and beyond.
