It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ben Edward Davidson Jr., who left us on September 16, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on August 9, 1943, in Clover, South Carolina, to the late Ben and Carrie Holliday Davidson. Ben was a dedicated machinist known for his skills in aircraft tooling, having spent his career at the Aircraft Tooling Manufacturing.

A proud veteran of the Army, Ben valued service and sacrifice, and his contributions didn't end there. His warm spirit and genuine kindness will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Ben is survived by his son, Joseph Davidson (Melissa; brothers, Bill Davidson (Helen), and James Davidson (Kathy); sisters, Dovie Huffstickler, and Etoulia Rollins; grandchildren, Chris Davidson (Padgie), Josh Davidson, and Natalie Davidson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ben's life at a memorial service planned for September 19, 2025, at 2:00 PM. This gathering will take place at Greene Funeral Service South Chapel, where we will come together to share our memories and honor Ben's legacy.

While he may no longer be with us, Ben will live on in our hearts and memories. We invite everyone who knew him to join us in remembering a wonderful man who made a lasting impact on those around him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bert, Robert, Delano, Jimmie, and Daniel Davidson; sisters, Ruth Noles, and Leorener Bolin.
