Benedict Hussmann Obituary
April 30, 1964 - October 30, 2024
Benedict J. Hussmann, age 60, suddenly passed away on October 30, 2024. Beloved husband of Kristin (Geshkewich). Adored father of Katherine "Katie" Hussmann. Dear son of the late Bernadine (Elliott) and the late Arthur Hussmann. Dear brother of Mary (Margaret Bass) Hussmann, Matthew (Deb Mayberry) Hussmann, and the late Peter (Julie Bak) Hussmann. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Ben was a passionate social studies teacher at Glenbrook South High School for 33 years, recently retiring in 2023. Ben was proudly active in the Pope John XXIII Parish community, serving on many boards throughout the years. He will be deeply missed.
Visitation, Wednesday, November 6, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Donnellan Family Funeral Services, 10045 Skokie Boulevard, Skokie, Ill. 60077. Funeral Mass, Thursday, November 7, 10 a.m. St John XXIII Parish at St Mary's Church, 1012 Lake St. Evanston, Ill. 60201. Interment, private at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Northbrook, Ill.
