Benedict J. Schlosser, age 75 of Boyceville, WI went to be with his Savior August 31, 2025.
He was born October 4, 1949 in Plum City, WI to parents Lawrence and Anna (Klapperich) Schlosser. Benedict was raised in Eau Galle on the family farm. He attended St. Henry's Grade School in Eau Galle and graduated from Durand High School in 1968.
Ben served in the Army November 1968 through June 1974. Two years active duty, with 14 months of that time was in South Korea, and then four years Inactive Reserves.
Ben married his loving wife Carol Krig August 6, 1977 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Boyceville, WI. They were blessed with two children Jeremy and Jessica.
Ben worked at Eau Galle Cheese Factory, Keyes Chevrolet, and then Kadinger Auto Salvage where he grew a passion for working on cars.
Hobbies he enjoyed were motorcycling, fishing, working on engines and reading western paperback books. Ben had a good sense of humor and enjoyed telling a good joke. Family meant everything to him, he cherished every moment spent together, especially the precious times with his grandchildren. Ben was an inspiration to so many.
Ben is survived by his wife, Carol of Boyceville; children, Jeremy (Stephanie) Schlosser of Barron, and Jessica (Travis) Clark of Boyceville; grandchildren Emma Schlosser of Eau Claire and Brett Schlosser of Barron; special honorary family Luke and Amanda Montgomery, Rachael (Nathan Corr) Montgomery, Michael Montgomery, Philip Montgomery, Phoebe Montgomery, Penelope Montgomery and Lincoln Corr. He is further survived by brother, Tony (Sharon Otto) Schlosser of Arkansaw; sisters, Charlotte (Norman) Olson of Pigeon Falls, Edith (Dan Anderson) Schlosser of Menomonie, and Mary Kraft of Florida; step brother, Carl Radatz of Nelson; brothers-in-law, John (Jeannie) Krig of Boyceville, Charles (Shirlie) Krig of Prairie Farm, Richard (Donna Stadler) Krig of Frederic; sister-in-law, Pat (Terry) Moe of Menomonie; step sister-in-law, Sharon Radatz of Nelson; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Schlosser; mother, Anna Klapperich Schlosser; step mother, Bernice Radatz Schlosser; brother, George Schlosser; sister, Darlene Otto; step brother, Ray Radatz; half brother, Ron Pinter; step sister-in-law, Tammy Radatz; brothers-in-laws, Dave Rasmussen, Herman McQuiston, and Duane Kraft; father-in-law, Carl Krig; mother-in-law, Helen (James) Krig and many aunts and uncles.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday September 5, 2025 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Boyceville, WI with Pastor Brad Peterson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Military Honors will be performed by Harmon - Harris American Legion Post #314 following the service.
