Tami J Schlosser, 59 of Sanford, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 23, 2024 at the Toni and Trish House in Auburn, MI. She was born to Thomas and Judith (Wise) Zimmerman on March 22, 1965 in Lodi, OH. Tami married the love of her life Gerald David Schlosser on December 31, 1990 and they shared thirty-three loving years together.
Tami worked for the Dow Chemical company for nearly 30 years. She thrived on family gatherings, summers boating or in her pool, countless movie nights, and filling those around her with joy and laughter.
She is survived by her husband; Gerald Schlosser, children; Samantha Keyser-Altman, Olivia (Casey) Desloover, niece; Amanda Duford, grandchildren; Dalen Altman, Nolan Altman, Dale Altman, Justin Dill, Brittany Altman, Reagan Desloover, mother; Judith (Richard) Wise, stepmother; Sandy Zimmerman, sister; Julie (Nick) Schiedt, mother-in-law; Barbara Schlosser, sisters-in-law; Jennifer Joseph, Julie Podboy, brothers-in-law; Douglas (Sherry) Schlosser, Robert (Patricia) Schlosser, Scott (Lisa) Schlosser, Glen Joseph and many nieces and nephews
Tami is preceded in death by her father; Thomas Zimmerman, sister; Brenda Duford and father in-law; Robert Schlosser.
A cremation has taken place per her wishes and a memorial service will be held at 11:00am on November 8, 2024 at Smith-Miner Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Payne officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00am until time of service. Following the service, a luncheon will be held at the Lee Township Hall 1485 W. Olson Rd 9 Mile, Midland MI 48640, all are welcome 1:00-4:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Toni & Trish Hospice House in her honor.
