Kevin Scott Bunn

Kevin Scott Bunn, age 75, of Midland, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home on October 1, 2025.

Born on February 26, 1950, in Midland to the late Keith and Doris (Huntington) Bunn. On June 10, 1983, he married Cynthia Diane Duarte, the love of his life, and together they shared forty-two years of unwavering devotion.

Kevin's faith in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, was the cornerstone of his life. Whether working, spending time with loved ones, or riding his Harley Davidson, he embraced each day with purpose and joy.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Cynthia; brothers; Kyle Bunn (Denise), Kurt Bunn (Dawn), his stepchildren Elizabeth Johnson (Mark), Alexander Ray (Jennifer), and Aaron Ray; 5 grandchildren Jeffery Cottengim (Dana), Anthony Cottengim (Gina), Nicole Munger (Tyler), AJ Ray (fiancé, Anna) and Jayden Ray; and six cherished great grandchildren-with one more blessing on the way.

He is preceded in death by his sister; Collette Domski.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Midland Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Mark Simpson. Visitation will take place from 5:00–7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 6 at Smith-Miner Funeral Home, and again from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

A committal service with military honors will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Homer Township Cemetery, conducted under the auspices of the United States Marine Corps and the Midland County Veterans Service Organization.

In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Midland Baptist Church in his honor.
