It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Chris Bunn after a recent illness. He loved watching the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Pittsburgh Steelers and almost any movie with an explosion in it. Even more than those things, was his love for his family. He was a proud father and grandfather. He was not always a man of many words but he loved deeply. He had a quiet kind of love that seeped into all the crevices holding everything together, making us stronger and feel safer.
Chris was preceded in death by Sharon Qualls (Mother), Wayne Bunn (Father), Minerva and Mason Pendergrass (Grandparents).
He is survived by his wife Candy Bunn; daughter, Baylee Bunn; sons, Dawson Durham and Hayden Bunn; grandson, Tony Durham; sister Jennifer Anderson; second dad, Steve Pevehouse; niece, Andi (Jimmy) Horne; nephews, Austin Anderson and Nickalas Strombergh, along with other family and close friends.
To celebrate Chris's life, the family will have a time to gather on Saturday September 6, 2025. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM-3:00 PM with the memorial service beginning at 3:00 pm. If you prefer, you are welcome to make a contribution to a charity of your choosing in his memory.
