Omie Bunn Obituary
Mrs. Bunn passed away on Monday, January12, 2026 at Citizen's Hospital in Talladega. Omie lived in the Clay County area most of her life and was a dedicated homemaker. She loved to keep her flower garden full and was always eager to share cuttings with everyone. Mrs. Bunn spoiled her babies and loved her family and will be missed by them.
She is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, James Bunn; her children, Thressa Bunn and Royce Bunn; grandchildren, Darron Mitchell, Breanna Griffin, Angelica Sanchez, Eric Sanchez and Elizabeth Campbell; great-grandchildren, Stenson Griffin, Carson Caldwell, Avery Caldwell, Emerson Caldwell, Angel Sanchez, Gabriel Sanchez, Karter Sanchez and Isabella Sanchez; siblings, Mary Campbell and James Campbell; plus several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents: L.J. and Hazel Campbell; son, Ricky Mitchell; grandson, James Griffin; brothers, Alfred Campbell and JW Campbell.
Active Pallbearers will be Jimmy Campbell, Frank Campbell, Joshua Campbell, Tony Martin, Erick Sanchez Jr., and Micah Patterson. Randall Haynes will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
Her visitation will take place on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville from 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
