Constance Gilbert Bunn

Mrs. Constance Gilbert Bunn, 76, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2026.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 12 PM at the Greenville Church of God. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:30 until the funeral hour.

Connie was a lifelong resident of the Grifton community and graduated from East Carolina University. She worked for over 30 years as an accountant with Weil Enterprises in Goldsboro until her retirement. Connie was skilled at many crafts and loved to crochet, embroider, and cross-stitch. She also enjoyed reading and helped her husband raise cattle for many years.

Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Sammy Bunn; and parents, Bill and Christine Gilbert.

She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Bunn Dilda and husband, James Daniel, Jr., of Farmville, April Bunn of Ayden; and Tina Louise Bunn Heath and husband, Jay, of Winterville; grandchildren, Bradley West, Samantha Hardee and husband, Rigo, Stephanie Kerns, Joshua Dilda and wife, Nichole, Erica Styron, Ethan Heath, Owen Heath, Anna Heath, Emma Heath; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Lily, Maria, Carter, Layla, Erick, Kensley, Hendrix, Colby, Leah, and Aubree; and brother, Joseph Gilbert of Grifton.
