Wanda Woods Obituary
A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11 AM at Rose Hill Free Will Baptist Church, 6236 County Home Rd, Winterville, NC 28590, officiated by Rev. Roger Haithcock.
Wanda was a loving wife and mother. She was always worried about others more than herself, especially her husband, Claudie and son, Garrett. She was an avid North Carolina Tarheel fan, especially basketball and football. She had all of the Tarheel gear and was always cheering them on. Over her career she spent time at the ECU School of Medicine and Nacco. She was a member of Rose Hill Free Will Baptist Church.
She is predeceased by her parents, Floyd Godwin and wife Marjorie Eason; son, Jordan Woods; brothers, Tim Godwin and Kenny Godwin; and a sister-in-law Sandra Godwin.
She is survived by her husband, Claudie Woods; son, Garrett Woods; brothers, Jamie Godwin and wife Rhonda, Jeff Godwin and wife Lori; sisters-in-law Elizabeth Haddock and husband David, Teresa Jones and husband Chris, and Nancy Evans; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to Rose Hill Free Will Baptist Church, 6236 County Home Rd, Winterville, NC 28590.

Wanda, Wanda Mattocks and Betsy Stallings and I rode to school together all the time. We were such wonderful friends and made so many sweet sweet memories together. I miss Betsy and will miss Wanda. I am so glad they will be together in heaven.
