Benito DiPronio passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025. Benito was born in Roccamorice, Italy on October 17, 1935. On his 20th birthday, he immigrated to Milwaukee, WI. He served honorably in the Army for four years. Benito began his career as a skilled mason, working proudly alongside his beloved brother-in-law, Rosario. He later found long-term employment at Pabst Brewing Company, where he dedicated 28 years of hard work before retiring.

A man of many passions, Benito took great joy in tending to his gardens where he grew vegetables with care and pride. He cherished time with his family every summer at his cabin in Lake Helen, WI. In the winter months, he enjoyed time with friends at the Orange Motel in Clearwater, FL. Benito lovingly hand-knitted hundreds of winter hats, which he gifted to veterans through the VA, the Boys Home of Virginia, his devoted medical team, and countless family members and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Odilia (nee Mongrio). Dear dad of Felicia (Francis) Bush, Annette (Victor) Huttl, David (Phyllis) DiPronio, Lisa (Abdullah) Odeh, Tony Barraza and Jose Barraza. Cherished grandpa of Adina Odom, Alexander (Marissa) Bush, Talia (Brian) Corn, Lucia, Hahna, and Amirah Odeh, Jevin Reynolds, Humberto, Elena, and Gabriel Barraza. Adoring great grandpa of Jack Odom, Eli and Leo Bush, and Emmerson Reynolds.

Preceded in death by the mother of his children, Marlene (nee Schruba) DiPronio and his siblings Donato (Rosetta), Giovanni (Tina), and Concetta DiPronio. Survived by his siblings Anna (late Antonio) DiGiovanni, Antonio (late Rosaria) DiPronio, Rosalia (late Rosario) DiPronio, Maria (late Leon) Milbeck, and Blaise (late Giovanna) DiPronio.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends and neighbors in the USA, Canada, and Italy.

The family would like to thank the dedicated staff at Aurora St. Lukes Medical Center, with a special thanks to Doctors Tucker, Bajwa, Sra, D'Amico, and Nurse Practitioner, Nicole C.
