Benito Scimia Obituary
Benito came to the United States at the age of sixteen. It was here that Benito graduated from high school in White Plains, NY, and after receiving his associate degree in mechanical engineering from Westchester Community College.
Benito went on to start his own company, Agio Precision Industries, Inc. in Portchester, NY. Years later Benito relocated his business to Mamaroneck, NY where he has resided since 1979.
He is survived by his loving wife, Angie Scimia; his three children; Bennett Scimia, David Scimia, and Teresa Parisi; his grandchildren Lucas, Carlos, Alice, Katherine and Talia; and his great Grandchildren Adalicia, Leo, Niko, and Luka.
Benito was predeceased by his daughter, Joanne Scimia, in 2002.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, December 20th, 2023, from 3:00 - 7:00 pm at Ballard Durand Funeral Home in White Plains, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on December 21st, 2023, at 11:00 am at St. Vito Church in Mamaroneck, NY. A burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery in White Plains, NY.
