Benjamin "Ben" Bruchie, a cherished son, devoted husband, loving father, and caring brother, passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 45, in Seffner, Florida. Born on September 16, 1980, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Ben was a beacon of kindness and love throughout his life.
Ben is survived by his adoring parents, Tom and Fran Bruchie, who instilled in him the values of family and faith. His beloved wife, Heather Bruchie, and his treasured children, Webster and Gabrielle Bruchie, will forever hold dear the memory of his unwavering support and boundless affection. Ben's siblings, Mary Norman and David Bruchie, will miss his warm presence and the joy he brought to their lives.
After earning his bachelor's degree, Ben embarked on a successful career as a data analyst with Citibank. His sharp mind and attention to detail made him a respected figure in his field. Beyond his professional achievements, Ben was an active member of the Landmark Baptist Church, where he found a community of faith that deeply resonated with his spirit.
A licensed pilot, Ben's passion for airplanes was more than a hobby; it was a reflection of his adventurous spirit and his love of freedom. He found solace in the skies and often shared this joy with his family and friends. Ben's interest in computers was not only evident in his career but also in his personal life, where he was always eager to explore the latest technologies.
Those who knew Ben understood that his family was the cornerstone of his life. He cherished every moment spent with them, whether it was a quiet evening at home or an exciting journey to a new destination. His love for travel was infectious, and he made sure to instill a sense of curiosity and wonder in his children.
Ben was the embodiment of kindness and love. His gentle demeanor, combined with his willingness to help others, made him a beloved figure in his community. He approached life with a warm smile and an open heart, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he met.
As we bid farewell to Benjamin Bruchie, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and love. His legacy will continue to inspire us, and his memory will be a guiding light for all who were fortunate enough to know him. Ben's journey on earth may have ended, but the story of his life will be told for generations to come, a testament to the remarkable man he was.
Friends and family will be received on Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Landmark Baptist Church, 6021 Williams Road Seffner, FL 33584.
