Services will be held Friday, September 19 at Central Baptist Church, 29 Pines Drive, Millerstown, PA with a visitation from 10 AM until the funeral services at 11 AM. Burial is at Slate Hill Cemetery, Camp Hill. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution in memory of Ben to Central Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 234, Millerstown, Pa 17062- a project he was very active in.

Earlier today
I am still praying for Ben's family, and I am sad for his passing so soon. I realized years ago when he was helping many of us who wanted to become better at astrophotography that we shared a mutual awe for the Creator and a love for the Savior. It was so evident in his love for beauty and truth and wonder, his hunger for understanding and putting what he learned into practice.
All of us at the peripheral edges of his amazing life miss him already, though what his beloved family are feeling is far beyond anything we could express. Just knowing he was out there looking at the same stars somehow encouraged us on cloudy nights. May the good God bless and keep his family through the days and weeks and months ahead.

I only knew Ben from watching his YouTube channel but he was so genuine that he felt like a neighbor to me. I´ll always admire him for his vast knowledge of astrophotography and cameras. He will be sorely missed. My heart goes out to his loved ones, may they find comfort that the knowledge he shared helped many to become better with their creative endeavors.
