Benjamin David Etchison of Orangevale, California, passed away suddenly in his sleep, leaving his family and friends heartbroken and holding tightly to the memories he left behind. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his generous heart, and the many ways he brightened the lives of those around him.

Ben was the beloved son of Dorri Hinkle and John Etchison, and the cherished stepson of Randy Hinkle and Tracy Etchison. He was a devoted father to his two daughters, Evelyn Etchison and Ella Etchison, who were the joy of his life. He is also survived by his former wife, Becky Etchison, with whom he shared many meaningful years and treasured memories.

Ben's family was large, loving, and deeply important to him. He was the grandson of Mary Sizemore and Robin Rossi, and the brother of Brandon Etchison, Blake Etchison, and Mary Etchison. He is also survived by his stepbrothers Randall Hinkle and Justin Hinkle, and his half-sisters Katy Etchison and Sierra Etchison. His sisters-in-law-Elizabeth Etchison, Mariah Hinkle, and Nicole Hinkle-held a special place in his life.

Ben was blessed with many aunts and uncles who loved him dearly: David Etchison, Jerry and Kathy Reitnauer, Matt and Tammy Rossi, Larry and Janna Brown, Bonita Garcia, David and Judy Hinkle, David and Chris Rossi, Phil Jones, Larry and Stacy Hinkle, Louise and Bill Begg, Johnny Hinkle and Jenny Rossi.

Ben loved being an uncle. He adored his nieces and nephews-Chloe, Cayden, Mabel, Maddalyn, Benjamin, and Lillian-and he always showed up for them with kindness, humor, and that familiar warm smile.

Ben had so many cousins and he was loved by them all.

Ben touched countless lives through his thoughtfulness, his willingness to help, and the quiet strength he carried through every season of life. He was a very hard worker for the San Juan Unified School District. Those who knew him will forever remember his loyalty, his laughter, his love for Mountain Dew, the NFL Jacksonville Jaguars and most of all his love for Jesus.

He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
