He was born in Ware County and graduated from Southside Christian School. He was the former Vice President and truck driver for Waycross Paving Company and was also a member of Second Baptist Church. He was an avid Nascar fan and all sports for that matter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cedric Marvin "Dink" Howard, Sr.; a sister, Sandra "Gail" Howard; and a brother, Cedric Marvin "Ricky" Howard, Jr.
He is survived by a daughter, Leanna Howard of Blackshear; two sons, Benjamin Keith Howard, Jr. of Blackshear and Caleb Howard (wife Tricia) of Blackshear; three grandchildren, Aidyn Howard, Eli Howard, and Jase Howard; his former wife and friend, Terri Howard of Blackshear; his mother, Mildred James Howard of Waycross; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday (June 29, 2024) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. The family will begin receiving friends at the funeral home on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations made in honor to Music Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses at the bottom of the page.
