Benjamin Hylton Obituary
Benjamin “Ben” Dale Hylton, 86 of Beckley, passed away on February 20, 2025.
Born October 5, 1938 at Fireco, WV, he was the son of the late Jacob and Verona Hylton. Ben was a retired sales manager in the mining industry and was a member of Calloway Heights Baptist Church. He served with the U.S Air Force and U.S Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Norma J. Hylton.
Survivors include a daughter, Teresa Y. Hylton of Crab Orchard, WV; son Timothy D. Hylton of Salisbury, NC; grandchildren, Shanae Trail, Ashley Saunders; great grandchildren, Jayden Straughn, Hunter Farris, Kevin Saunders, Hallie Meredith, Trevor Saunders, Zoe Trail, Briar Trail; siblings, Erma Clay, Dennis Hylton, Judy Staton, Lois Hylton, Ronnie Hylton.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Calloway Heights Baptist Church with Pastors Keith Manning and Kim Kirby officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 12 until service time on Thursday.
