Benjamin Morgan Moore

Benjamin "Benji" Morgan Moore, a devoted father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026, in Asheboro, North Carolina. Born on October 1, 1971, in Elkin, North Carolina, he was 54 years old at the time of his passing.

Benji spent much of his career in parts fabrication for the automotive industry, where he was well-regarded for his craftsmanship and dedication. A previous employee of Black and Decker, he later applied his skills to building race car parts for HPC in Winston-Salem. His passion for cars extended beyond his work; Benji loved racing at notable tracks such as Rockingham, Bowman Gray, and Piedmont Raceway.

In his personal life, Benji was an avid enthusiast of race cars and motorcycles. He cherished the outdoors, whether it was through fishing or spending time working on cars. These interests defined his character and brought him joy throughout his life.

Preceded in death by his father, Morgan Melvin Moore, and his mother, Mary Moore, Benji leaves behind a legacy of family and friendship. He is survived by his loving sisters: Mary Caudill (Wayne) of Enice, NC; Brenda Ramey (Paul) of Seagrove, NC; and Linda Driggers (Ken) of Maxton, NC. His son, Issac Moore of Coleridge, NC, and his niece, Jessica Gwyn of Asheboro, NC, also survive him, along with his nephews Jeffery Caudill, Greg Caudill, David Gwyn, Herb Driggers, and Blake Driggers, and many great-nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.

A service to honor Benji's life will be scheduled in the near future. The Moore family appreciates the outpouring of love and support from friends and relatives during this difficult time.
