Benjamin “Ben” Clay Robinson, 47, passed away unexpectantly on June 27, 2023. He was born in Sylva, NC on May 6, 1976, to the late Donna Thompson and Randall James Robinson.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Saturday, July 1st, 2023, at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
Ben’s passion was playing his guitar where he could often be found playing old favorites and creating new songs. He was a loving father and husband. Due to health issues, he no longer worked, but was a former employee of the US Postal Service and Food Lion. He was fascinated by different languages and could speak four fluently. He graduated from Reidsville High School and attended Western Carolina University where he studied computer programming.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Forest and Martha Robinson as well as Janice Sharpe.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Crystal M Robinson; children, Kaylah Robinson (Chris), Alexander Robinson and Serenity Robinson; grandson, Carson Riley; brother, Jamey Robinson; as well as a large and loving group of extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America at 505 Eighth Avenue/ Suite 902, New York, NY 10018
