Benjamin "Ben" Saucedo born in April 1, 1950 in Austin, TX, passed away May 4, 2025 at his home in Red Rock, TX, at the age of 75. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughs, and unforgettable stories. Ben attended Bastrop HS where he was voted "most friendly" in his class, played football making it to bi-state, member of the FFA with a reserved champion boar, and made a lasting impact on everyone he met, including his future wife of 50 years, Blondena. He went on to attend Blinn Junior College where he graduated with an Art Degree in 1972. Then he entered the US Army for a few years and felt he had more to offer his community and country. He continued his service in the US National Guard stationed at Camp Mabry in Austin, TX, working in the USPFO, working his way up to Master Sargent until his retirement in 2005. Ben was a devoted Catholic and together, he and Blondena raised 4 wonderful children at their home in Austin, TX, instilling "family first" values. They eventually moved back "home" to Red Rock, TX, where they resided together in Blondena's childhood home. Opening their home to family and friends, gatherings were abundant as they shared food, stories, and love. He always had a camera in his hand, providing lasting memories for everyone to look upon and share their experiences behind those photos. Family was the forefront of every day, whether it be driving Blondena wherever she said she wanted to go, traveling across the US on road trips with Connie and Don, taking an annual trip to El Paso for a steak, fishing with his sons or teaching his grandchildren how to fish, watching movies, or just being with his wife, sisters, kids, and grandkids.

He is survived by his wife, Blondena, children Stephanie Farber (Mark), Benjamin Joseph Saucedo (Laura), David Saucedo, Rachel Martinez ( Orlando), grandchildren, Alex Farber, Noah Martinez, Riley Martinez, Easton Martinez, Parker Martinez, Josephine Saucedo, Benjamin Ford Saucedo, and Luna Saucedo, sisters Hortencia "Tancha" Eureste (Thomas "Tommy"), Linda Chavarria (Geno), Connie Hall (Don), and Rebecca "Becky" Saenz, sisters-in-laws Joan Saucedo, Dolores Saucedo, Theresa Pesquera, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ben is preceded by his dad, Narciso Saucedo, mom, Consuelo Saucedo, brothers Alejandro '"Alex" Saucedo, Narciso Saucedo Jr, , Rodolfo "Randy" Saucedo, Robert Saucedo, brother-in-law Eli Saenz, and nephew Christopher Saucedo.

A Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM, followed by a Rosary at 10:00 AM, and Mass at 10:30 AM, all at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rockne, Texas on Tuesday May 13, 2025.

Interment will commence afterwards at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery.
