Bennie Lee "BG" Gamble

THE LIFE and LEGACY of "BG"
Mr. Bennie Lee Gamble, affectionately known as "BG" departed this earthly life unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at 10:40 am in Detroit, Michigan at the Ascension St. Johns Hospital for his heavenly home. Bennie was born to Carmen Suzette Galiton and the late Bennie Lee Davis on November 16, 1977, in Muskegon, Michigan.
He accepted Christ at an early age. He also attended the Muskegon Public School system where he graduated in the class of 1998. He was a Big Red to heart. BG worked different jobs, but his most memorable and successful position was at Port City Industrial where he was employed for 12 years. He retired in 2020 due to an injury.
Bennie loved watching sports, kayaking, and fishing. When he retired, that gave him more time to travel with his family, and to do his favorite things-watching and supporting "the twins" as they grew in basketball and life. He was so proud of them. He was their #1 fan. They were together until his untimely death.
Bennie leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Tiffany; mother, Suzette (Carmen) Galiton; brothers, Darrell Hunt, Michael Jones, Damon Jones; sisters, LaTonya Johnson of Detroit, Monique Watts, Christina Davis, Vivian Gamble, Renee Gamble, Carmen Gamble, all of Muskegon, Elle Pollard, and Genese Terrence-Jones; his mother-in-love, Glenda Jones; children, Javontae Jones, Jalon Jones, Janaya Harris,Jamari Gamble, Breanna and Breasia Gamble; grandchildren, Jordyn Jones and Ezra Jones; special cousins, Anthony Neuman, Julius Strickland, Terrell Davis, William Davis, and Shanita Williams.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bennie Lee Davis; brother, Nate Pollard; two children, Bennie L. Gamble, Jr. and J'Mari Harris; paternal grandparents, Esther Davis and Jack Barnes; maternal grandparents, Camel and Berneva Gamble; stepfather, William (Peanut) Galiton; and Brother-in-law, Birdeal Ferguson.
OUR FAMILY will NEVER be the same BUT we will see you again in Paradise, BG.
