Bennie Ray Obituary
Mr. Bennie Ray was a member of the Corp of Engineers for Lake Greason by profession. He enjoyed hunting deer and squirrel and had an interest in mules and wagons. He was a member of the Cove First Baptist Church.
Mr. Bennie Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Bonnie Waldo Ray and Amy (Dunlap) Ray; sister-in-law, Naomi Ray; brother, Ollie Fay Ray; sisters, Margie Ray, and Amajewell Holcom. He is survived by his special friend, Pat Gilbert; nephew, Michael Ray and wife Sherry, Bruce Ray and wife Lucy, Ricky Ray and wife Leslie; niece, Sue Beasom and husband Will; as well as by a host of great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Services for Mr. Bennie Randall Ray will be held on Friday, February 06, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at the Beasley-Wood Chapel. Brother Ron Ladd will be officiating under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Interment will be private. The visitation will be general.
