Funeral services for Bro. Benny Braddock, age 63, of Grayson will be held 2:00 PM Sunday May15, 2022 from the Columbia chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Roland officiating. Interment will follow in the Little Star Cemetery at Grayson. Visitation will be on Saturday May 14, 2022 at the funeral home from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Benny Marshall Braddock was born on November 4, 1958 at Columbia, LA to the union of his parents, Marshall Braddock and Florence Bethra Lindsey Braddock and he passed from this life on May 11, 2022 at his residence at Grayson. Bro. Benny as he was known to so many was Pastor at Little Star Full Gospel Church for sixteen years, and was a truck driver for thirty-five years. He was a loving son, husband, father , grandfather and brother. He loved white perch fishing and loved working in his yard growing flowers. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Maurice Braddock and his brothers-in-law, James Simons and James Lowery.
Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Jimmie Cruse Braddock of Grayson, two sons: Jackie Albritton, JR (Rachel), of Quitman, Mississippi and Joseph Little of Smithdale, Mississippi; his daughter: Chrystal Cruse of Olla; three brothers, Burl Braddock (Myrtis), Lawrence Ray Braddock (Helen) and Mark Braddock (Alice) all of Grayson; four sisters, Elaine Simons, Marjorie Cain (Rocky) and Jean Crain (Dale) all of Grayson and Maurine Lowery of Monroe; his beloved grandchuildren: Colton Albritton, Chase Albritton, Cameron Albritton and Kirsten Cubbit and he loved his dog, Diego.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jayden Byrd,Hunter Byrd, Eugene Byrd, Shane Nelson, Adam Simons, Kim Simons and Carl Simons. Honorary pallbearers include Carl Sanson, Rocky Cain and John Honeycutt.
